Day 1: The Moment I Fell In Love With Them

#this scene is incredible okay? #even from the very first gif #we have lincoln displaying so much trust in octavia #he’s just sorta walking #he isn’t guiding her #he isn’t forcing her to follow. #she could run off if she wanted to #but she doesn’t. #and then in the second third and fourth gif when she complains #he just looks back and assesses her needs #so in the fifth gif he moves over toward her #and this is the most interesting part to me #because she IS still afraid of him. #she doesn’t know what he’s going to do #so she backs away #but he isn’t detered. #he just picks her up and carries her away. #and she allows it and proceeds to make conversation #and plead for her friends lives #as if she believes he would actually help her now #and i think that’s just beautiful.
